We had the most lovely dining experience this afternoon at Osteria Ca’ di Pieri. We had two dishes that reminded us of my mother-in-law’s fabulous cooking: gnocchi bolognese for primi and chicken Milanese with spinach for secondi. The service was warm and friendly. Reminded me of Sunday meals with my husband’s parents.

We loved this place during our stay in Gorizia. It is a lovely family run restaurant that offers very well prepared typical regional food. I strongly recommend to everyone visiting Gorizia to plan a stop at this Osteria for lunch or dinner; the final bill is also a pleasant surprise. I assure you won't be disappointed.

We had a perfectly good lunch here after visiting the castle. We enjoyed some tasty starters and main dishes typical of Gorizia. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely great value! The waiter was very nice—her English wasn’t the best, but she made up for it with pure enthusiasm. She had the kind of smile that could brighten anyone’s day.
